One-on-one therapy to help you address personal challenges in a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental setting. Together, we will come to understand your concerns and work towards your goals.

Therapy is not necessarily a magical key that will unlock the box to your healing or solve all your problems. Instead, it’s where we foster the space for you to learn something new about yourself, so that you can choose (if you wish) to do things differently — perhaps breaking an old pattern, or trying something that scares you.

People need support, but that doesn’t mean that everyone needs therapy. With adequate support from loves ones and peers, you may be just fine on your own.
Therapy may be right for you if you are noticing feeling stuck in the same patterns, repeatedly misunderstood by others, or unable to see an issue as clearly as you’d like. A therapist can help you notice patterns of thought, feeling, and behaviour that non-professionals usually miss. You can always try it out for a single session and decide from there whether or not to move forward.

Individual therapy costs $120 per 50 minute session; there is no HST charge for psychotherapy.

Many insurance providers do offer coverage to some extent for psychotherapy. The best way to find out if you’re covered is to contact your insurance provider about whether Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) practitioners are covered under your plan.
